This blog post hit home for me. It's been four years since my partner confessed to an affair. And, while the news of the affair was blindsiding, yes indeed - I did have plenty of signs. And I did indeed turn on myself.

What I feel reading this blog entry is relief that someone has put a little bit of 'control your own mind' and 'have hope for healing' and 'restore fun' in it. Just reading this, I can feel a little more healing come into my body. In the heat of it, I'm not sure I would have been receptive to fun. But now, four years later, still together with my now fiancé... I can tell you - my own positive thinking and starting to have fun together again... these have helped us stay together more than anything else.

Sometimes we need to leave. Sometimes we need to stay. If you're staying, this is excellent advice.

Wishing You Well,
Heather
